This Saturday 5th March 2011 is World Book Night, an event that will see individuals from around the UK and Ireland give away for FREE up to 1 million books. It is a way to go forward to encourage more people in Britain and Ireland to read books. There are a variety of titles such as Agent Zigzag, -Ben McIntyre A Fine Balance - Rohinton Mystery, Beloved - Toni Morrison, Love in the time of Chloera - Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and a host of many more books by lots of different authors, If you would like to know more about the World Book Night initiative then check out the website http://www.worldbooknight.org/ If you enjoy reading and are interested in a authors that are not yet widely well known , but pack a fair punch with there writing skills, you may enjoy reading from a few of the book titles listed below from a few featured British authors such as Gemma Weekes, Alex Wheatle, Trevor & Michael Philllips, Courttia Newland & the for poetry we have the distinguished Linton Kwesi Johnson and for a good belly full of laughs, Lenny Henry or for some really tasty Jamaican food dishes there's the delightful Levi Roots.
